Rewilding Your Soul
January 30, 2026 - February 1, 2026
R800
Let the wild and wise nature around us reconnect us with the wild and wise nature within us.
Shift from a state of ‘human doing’ into a place of ‘human being’ on this soul-deep journey of reigniting
your connection to nature and thereby to yourself.
Held in the serene embrace of Sashwa River of Stars on the banks of the Olifants River in the Greater
Kruger National Park, you will immerse yourself completely in the healing pace and peace of the
wilderness through guided bush walks, mindful game drives, guided shamanic meditation journeys and
playful explorations that unlock experiencing connection with all your senses.
This retreat importantly also seeks connection to community by empowering others: 100% of Sashwa’s
income supports Koru Camp, offering unique wildlife and conservation experiences to disadvantaged
youth and women in the community.
DAY 1 – DECELERATE
Our first day begins with a delicious lunch by the mighty Olifants River for a first sighting of wildlife and
getting to know each other.
In the afternoon, we gather as a group to set intentions, ground ourselves and explore where in our lives we
are seeking more connection.
As the day cools, we embark on a guided game walk to ‘hear with our feet’ with further prompts to release
and regulate our nervous system.
We end the day with an al-fresco dinner and the opportunity to gather around the fire for stargazing and
storytelling.
DAY 2 – CONNECT & ACTIVATE
As day breaks, we venture into the bush for a guided meditation and journey and to ‘Walk with the
Ancestors’.
After breakfast, we experiment with some free unbound movement, followed by some free time to enjoy
the lodge facilities, a yoga session or a wellness treatment.
We gather again for lunch, and then it’s time for some play and creativity to unleash our inner bush
children.
The afternoon brings an immersive ‘Soulful Sounds’ Game Drive, which concludes with a dinner and fire
ceremony.
DAY 3 – REMEMBER
Our final day starts with a full deceleration meditation and game walk that helps us tune into the
consciousness of the trees around us.
After a nourishing breakfast, we come together one last time to reflect on our journey and close the
retreat. From here, there is time to pack, say farewells, and depart, carrying the insights and connections of
the weekend back into daily life.
